one, barack obama, happens to be our commander in chief at the moment. even as our flag is being burned and "death to america" is being chanted all over the middle east, members in of his security team are trying to argue that the united states is more popular that ever before around the globe. believe it or not. watch this. >> look at this map. there have been protests around the world over the last several days. and president obama pledged to repair america's relationships with the muslim world. why does the u.s. seem so impotent and why is the u.s. even less popular today in some of these muslim and arab countries than it was four years ago? >> jake, we are not impotent and we are not even less popular to challenge that assessment. i don't know on what basis you make that judgment. but let me -- >> it seems the u.s. government is powerless as this erupts. >> it's exactly the opposite. >> on what basis, our embassies are being breached, people are being killed, our flag is being burned and "death to america" is being chanted. ambassador rice has just taken his cues from the pre

. the obama campaign has also responded. it's shocking that a candidate for president of the united states would go behind closed doors and declare to a group of wealthy donors that half the american people view themselves as victims sbientitled to hando and are unwilling to take personal responsibility for their own lives. it's hard to serve as president for all americans when i have disdainfully written off half of the nation. that's exactly what mitt romney has done here with this statement behind closed doors. for months on this program, i have asked, will the real mitt romney stand up? we saw the real mitt romney. he did behind closed doors. he doesn't give a damn about those who needs assistance in this country and that we are a society, we are a country of compassion. we want to help people who are downtrodden. we want to help those who were dealt a tough deck of cards, whether it be in the economy, or whether it be health care, as of no fault of their own, or circumstances put on families that are totally out of their control. mitt romney wants to do away with those. he views those

of the day and boy oh, boy, president obama and mitt romney now in a big argument over policy toward china with one big difference between them. mitt romney, as president of bain capital was exporting jobs to china. now, president obama is fighting to bring back jobs from china. you know which one is better for the american people. we'll get into that plus a whole new video that's got mitt romney in trouble. lots to talk about here. we'll take your calls too, on the "full court press." first, today's current news update. it is lisa ferguson standing by in los angeles. hey, lisa, good morning. >> hey bill, good morning everyone. no doubt mitt romney will face another round of criticism this morning after calling nearly half of all voters dependent and entitled in a video leaked to mother jones. here's a look. >> 47% of the people who will vote for the president are what? supportive of tom and have been supportive of tom but obviously i would have loved to have seen a different result. >> the president won wisconsin he go

't frankly understand the outrage, because it seems to me he has stolen a page right of obama's playbook on this. i want to read a clip from a fund-raiser that obama held in 2011 in san francisco where he told donors, as he told people on the stump for a year, unless he's re-elected, we'll have a government that tells the american people, you're on your own. if you get sick, can't afford college, you're on your own. if you don't like a corporation polluting the air, you're on your own. if he's not calling his voters victims, we need a new definition of the word. in fact, democrats and liberals in the name of obama support have been talking about how their voter base, women, illegal immigrants, minorities and the lee are victims of the republican parties. i think the message obama has been promoting for a year of two americas, us versus them, we're going to take care of you, they'll live you to die or live in squalor, that's what romney is saying. >> we're going to leave you out in squalor? >> no. >> to me, that's what he's saying. >> he's accepting obama's characterization of his own bas
